WHO WE ARE
Black Fae Day is a company with its heart founded in bringing diversity to, and creating Black visibility in, fantasy and creative spaces. Created by Owner Jasmine Tucker, she channeled her passion for fantasy and creativity into a tangible and uniting presence for minorities in areas where it had been previously lacking.
Founder, Jasmine Tucker -
Jasmine is a demure woman with a servant's heart. A natural caretaker, she found a passion teaching infants and toddlers as an Early Childhood Educator. However, her love of fantasy, costumes, and romance has always left her dreaming about more. Tucker believes in creating a world where children in marginalized communities won't have to wish to fit in or ask for representation. Her life is dedicated to this hope for the generation after.
Co-Founder, Carlos Williams Jr. -
Carlos is a lover of humor and the macabre storytelling of authors like Edgar Allen Poe. An author and creator himself, Carlos naturally aligned with Black Fae Day's mission. In 2020, he graduated from Full Sail University with a Masters of Science in Entertainment Business. Williams brings balance to the partnership with his dark, intellectual interests and knowledge of business best practices.

September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month
Vampires and blood drives seem like a no brainer – but unfortunately for an online event like this – a virtual “blood drive” will have to do instead. September also happens to be Sickle Cell Awareness Month. Sickle cell disease is a red blood cell disorder is common among those whose ancestors came from sub-Saharan Africa; Spanish-speaking regions in the Western Hemisphere (South America, the Caribbean & Central America); Saudi Arabia; India & Mediterranean countries such as Turkey, Greece, and Italy.
So we’re raising money during #BIPOCVampDay for Sickle Cell Disease research and treatment.
